Do you endorse?

TO BE LOVED – not the Jackie Wilson song… I’m talking endorsements.

I used to love getting my skills endorsed on LinkedIn. However, do people actually care?

It seems these days, it’s normal for people in your network, who you have not necessarily worked with, to endorse you. So, here is a slight issue,

➡️ I’m getting endorsed by strangers who do not know the true extent of my skills and expertise
➡️ I feel like it will degrade LinkedIn as a networking site
➡️ Do we opt for a written recommendation as the “go to” rather than endorsements

But hey, after all is said and done, if it increases engagement then isn’t that a great thing.
